The Coronado is a cosy little hotel in a quiet location close to the Zurich Irchel University, a 10-minute tram ride from the centre of Zurich, the airport and the main train station.Each of the 40 rooms is non-smoking, nicely furnished and most of them are air-conditioned.Every morning the rich breakfast buffet provides for a good start. The restaurant La Golondrina's chefs Mr. Appaydin and Mr. Pizzuto prepare delicious Italian dishes. Every weekday for lunch and dinner a reasonably priced 3-course set menu is offered. Try the speciality of the house, the incomparable home-made ravioli, stuffed with boletus, veal or spinach!Just across the street there is a beautiful park with a biotope, a jogging path and benches, inviting you to relax in lush green surroundings.The trams 7, 9, 10 and 14 stop right in front of the house, providing for easy access to all points in Zurich. Various stores are easy reachable on foot. Besides that the hotel also offers a shuttle bus transfer from and to the airport at a reasonable charge. New: Tram 10 goes directly from the airport to the hotel (stop Milchbuck)!




The Coronado, Zurich is a modern hotel, situated three kilometres from Zurich's main train station and four kilometres from the city centre and lake. Coronado's guests can start the day in Zurich with breakfast(for extra charge)at the Ristorante La Golondrina where homemade Italian fare is on offer at breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed and informal setting. Guests can visit the city centre, zoo, or lake, all four kilometres away. Zurich Airport is six kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes. Guests can also travel by tram (line 10) to and from Zurich Airport, which stops at Milchbuck station, adjacent to the hotel; travel time is approximately 20 minutes. A single ticket costs CHF 6.20 and is valid for one hour. City tax: A city tax of 2.50 CHF per person per night is not included in the rates and is payable locally.
